Re-roofing Insulation in Cedar, BC Home

This flat roof home in Cedar, just south of Nanaimo, was being re-roofed. The home owner is an architect who is well-versed in the benefits of spray foam, and realized that the best way to stop stack effect in a home is to create an air-tight cap in his attic. The old batt insulation, which was mouldy and damp from warm air leakage, was removed and the Icynene open cell foam was sprayed directly onto the drywall ceiling.
